Turtles

The turtles are my favourite part of the Fontaine des Quatre Parties du Monde in the jardin de l'Observatoire. We walked through there on our way back from an unsuccessful walk to Montparnasse Cemetery where I'd hoped to find the grave of one of the authors I am studying (Louise Cruppi)... Our search was cut short by a downpour, which we sat out in a nearby café. It's a nice walk from the apartment, though, so we'll try again another time.

Ch has done all of the cooking here today, including making a delicious dessert from the fresh apricots I picked up at the market.
