V&A & A&V

Bob G called in for an overnight stay and we took the bus over the Tay to visit the design museum and a walk around Slessor Gardens.

This was my second viewing of the Video Games Exhibition and whilst we both spent a couple of hours chatting over the pros and cons we both agreed that the trend away from war and battlefield games was to be welcomed we remained unhappy at the soulless environments created and the lack of face to face interaction highlighted in the Exhibition

Pat had asked us to stop, pick up strawberries from the Fruit Farm and walk home, but she then texted a warning of the Biblical Deluge which put paid to that.

However, the lure of fresh fruit was too strong and we jumped into Bob’s car and drove back for the Berries.

Judging by the puddles everywhere, including the inside of my convertible the rain was indeed Biblical.

We enjoyed good food, wine and strawberries together with great conversation. We realised that our meal and conversation had taken 4 hours which we put down to the very comfortable dining chairs that arrived from California.
