Small Copper

A black cloud was looming and there was a hint of rain in the air. This made the butterflies more amenable to being photographed.
This small copper (Lycaena phlaeas) fortunately still had its wings on display whereas the one in the 'extras' had completely shut down and allowed me to approach with my camera to within a few inches above it. With my captures made, I retreated, leaving it to its camouflaged resting place.
