You know what comes to my mind when you say Layers! :-))) A little different take on the theme. Thanks to our illustrious host!
In the extra, you can see Dovie, my broody blue copper Marans. She is sitting on 4 eggs. And is a first time mom. Can’t wait to see the babies! 2 of the eggs are hers, 2 are olive eggs.
