Cigs

Loanheid ish

Don't grow up....it's a trap.

Bertrand Russell? Descartes? Neitzsche? Yes, yes it sounds like Neitzsche. Or has Cigs in fact started a whole new philosphical movement?

In preparation for an epic Cigs hunt, I was in training tonight. For all the controversy about facial recognition cameras and their breaching of civil liberties, they do have their uses. Now they can recognise Cigs when it appears on CCTV. It's early days yet but the cameras at the underpass and the graffiti wall have both registered the unique characteristics of Cigs when it appears and thus I'm alerted to new finds in pretty much real time. All I need now is CCTV funding for all the likely spots. Theresa May becoming PM was the worst thing that could happen to Cigs; as Home Secretary she was all for the intrusive and draconian joys recognition software could bring, but her successor in the Home Office frankly didn't share her zeal for infringing people's rights with quite the same vindictiveness.

Anyhoo, there's a bin on the A9 near Moy (layby 169 my sources tell me - Morag fae Inversnecky, if you must know; although Scoob and Fi also reported its existence but without the specific geography)
It's got a Cigs emblazened across the side of it. I've been in touch with H&S at Cigscorp and we're confident we've done the risk assessment properly.

Logistics have booked tickets on the 0638 train from Embra for Friday 8 June; to Carrbridge. A mere 13 miles to Moy for the shot (assuming it's where the scouts say it is) and Bob is my Uncle (he lives in Oxfordshire - Great Tew to be precise)

So last night I managed a quick sprint up to Loanheid and back; a similar sort of distance to the Moy one from Carrbridge station; the gap between trains is a little tight so I wanted to work to a deadline.

Perhaps I shouldn't have had the second pint of cider and blackcurrant before embarking on the trial.... But what's the worst that can happen? How bad can a night in Carrbridge be?
