State Flower

The lilacs bloom so early and are fleeting blossoms but they do make a statement.  Not everyone would agree (my husband) but I think the scent is as nice as the flowers.  Positioned by an open window with the breeze blowing in, they are so nice.  Looking forward to getting some gardening done tomorrow as Memorial Day is always the go-ahead date for the last frost.  No chance of that in the next few days so we could be good to go.
