If this beach was in a warmer country it would probably be lined with snack bars and cafes and there would be hundreds of people sunbathing.  Instead it remains unspoilt and there are never more than a few people, possibly because there is no road nearby but instead a delightful walk beside fields and through woods to reach the beach.  This morning at low tide, there was only the sound of the sea and the sky larks singing above the sand dunes and hardly anyone apart from some people and dogs.  This handsome dog was waiting for his owner to throw a ball.
