Market Day

From May to September, our village has a little market on the first Saturday of the month, from 10-12. It also runs on a couple of bank holiday weekends, such as today.

It's a lovely chance for people to meet up, and today I hit 2 plant stalls, bought some soda bread, baked by a neighbour, and bought my ducks for the duck race, held in the burn, on the morning of the last Saturday in September, which is when we hold our village show.
