Anticipation

It’s the time of year when all my fuchsia cuttings, taken last autumn, are forming buds.
I didn’t label them so I have no idea which varieties they are but I will probably know once they bloom.
I think this one might be ‘Paula Jane’. I will know just as soon as these plump buds open.
Several more of my fuchsias are in bud. I just love the anticipation.
A visit to the farm shop at the nearby fruit farm this morning yielded two punnets of strawberries, one of
raspberries and a huge cabbage. All for £4.50 - can’t be bad.
