Invasion

Our lovely Heworth Stray has been invaded by a group of travellers. Access to the stray should be gated and that gate only being used by residents who have homes fronting on to the stray. They used to be vigilant about closing said gate but I have noticed for several months now that this is being left open. Needless to say this is how the travellers got their vehicles on. They have been served with a notice to quite by Sunday, hopefully they will and take their rubbish with them - not holding my breath!
