Milky way at Catho round 2

Well the high clouds that were mainly out to the Nor West managed to stay there and then blow north.  It left us pretty much a cloudless night which is what we were hoping for because it was round 2 for the milky way at Catho tonight.  I am just back and can I say it was absolutely beautiful.  There was a bevy of togs there, one chap had arrived at sunset with his medium format film camera, focused and then had been doing a 4 hour long exposure.  His star trails over the jetty would be magnificent.

Aside from that, it was Hamish and I visiting this morning and then a play date for Hamish and Poppy with the Carliar girls at Blacksmith.  7 Goldies again.  They had a ball.

Time for beddy byes so I will catch you tomorrow.
