A lovely abreuveur

And another walk today; this time the Potato Peel Pie walk.
Two ladies (who I met earlier in the week on a town walk) we’re visiting from Israel. They had formed a book club in Tel Aviv and read the Potato Peel Pie book and decided on a group visit to Guernsey because of it. In the end only two of the group made the visit. They hadn’t realised that the book was fiction, though loosely based on the time after the Occupation. But despite this they enjoyed their visit.
