Fluffy collerette

A more advanced Gaillardia bud than yesterday's. I do love its fluffy collerette and how the petals are taking on their 'grown up' colours!
A gorgeous sunny day and I was given a pot of Edelweiss today to replant in a pot next to the Gentian!  Photos of those on another day
