Fire plug

There are not many of these around Arnold, and this one seems like it has seen better days. It is kind of buried in pine needles and leaves and my confidence in it working well is not high.

We have been in Arnold for a week now, and I think it has rained daily. One day with snow, and it looks like we could get some snow again today - the temperature is around 37 degrees which is right in the snowy range. This about of moisture is highly unusual for this time of year, but with the deficits of rain and snow we had for many years, it is tough to complain.

The worst part are the dog walks. Max is not very keen on going out in the rain, nor are we, but no one likes the alternative!
