Hats off - too breezy on the ferry.

We took the catamaran south. A lovely quiet trip, lasted over an hour. It called at several points and made a detour into a bay where a few yachts were moored for lunch. The water and sky colours were lovely. Such a Mediterranean afternoon. Another catamaran moored nearby and some folks went diving and swimming off the back. I really enjoyed watching the young captain dock in the harbour. He was firm with his crew re the mooring pattern he wanted. Impressive all round.

We enjoyed the local Porto Cristo Sunday Market - arts and crafts for tourists and local produce. This town has had a lot of Majorcan and EU money spent on it. It was much improved from our last visit a few years ago; we’d a pleasant afternoon in the port and harbour area, lots of locals were out for family meals, the place had a nice feel to it. We came back in a taxi.
