And the sun came out

I went up to C.'s house to wish her a happy birthday.  They will be moving out of the village very soon and that will leave a hole when it comes to sharing cups of tea and news. It has been a dull and rainy day but the sun did come out in the late afternoon allowing a walk around the fields. Apart from that I reassembled a clock and caught up with the cricket and the motor racing.
