Home from holiday and we unpacked.

Oot n aboot for a late afternoon walk.

As we crossed the canal bridge the lock keepers appeared on their bikes. And shortly thereafter this boat came around the corner and into the lock. It’s always interesting to see the simple but effective lock technology in use; it was a very slick operation and the north lock gates were open in a few minutes. The boat sailed off towards the busy moorings at the Kelpies.
