First One on the Way

Annie's always wanted to grow strawberries. A couple of months back we were in a garden centre looking for something, when we spotted a cascading planter. We picked a selection of different varieties of strawberry plants and planted them. We've carefully watered them and rotated the planter regularly. Some fruit has appeared on some of the plants and today I spotted the first one was ripening, quite exciting.

Both Annie and Rosie have spent most of the day revising for their upcoming maths exams. I've pottered. Nice to get a bit of rain this afternoon but it didn't last long.
