Incoming

Same poppies, more bees. Each flower has at least three bees working themselves silly. It's getting to be quandry time: the poppies haven't even come close to setting seed, and we need the space for summer vegetables. What to do? what to do?

I did fill up one raised bed with a lemon cucumber, an armenian cucumber, two kinds of zucchini, and a mound with seeds for crookneck squash. I'm so tempted to cram in more plants, but I know how big those guys are going to get, and they'll be sprawling all over the place in no time. It's still too cold for beans, so we're done for the moment.
