Causey Arch

Following on from yesterday's photo of my son on the bridge (see extra) this is one of the photos he took of Causey Arch while he was down in the ravine.  Mr YB and I are one the second extra but you can hardly see us.  

Causey Arch is the oldest surviving single arch railway bridge in the world and was built in 1725.  It was used to take coal to the River Tyne.  Over 900 horse drawn carriages crossed the bridge each day.
