Woodpecker defence

A blue tit has made a nest inside this bird box. Unfortunately a woodpecker was trying to get in the box so my friend has covered the box in chicken wire to prevent the woodpeckers, starlings and magpies taking the young. A very effective solution.

The extra is a greater spotted woodpecker.
