Nigel and Mireia

Our niece Kirstin and her boyfriend Chris were out sightseeing during the day. Bb and I did some work in the morning, then food shopping in the afternoon locally. We then went along to the open day at the old Lehman Factory, which used to be a doll factory but is now lots of lovely little workshops for artists. Back home and a bit rushed but managed to rustle up some food for friends Nigel and Mireia, who were coming round. We made hummus, mushroom pate, a spinach and feta cheese pie and added some raw veggies, bread and crisps, olives and some cheeses. Kirstin and Chris joined us for drinks and headed out. Mireia's studying to be a gardener and was delighted to cut back our lemon tree and help with some lemon tree cuttings I’d acquired. Surprisingly, Kirstin and Chris arrived back just after a Nigel and Mireia had left at 1.20am and Bb and I were tidying up. A very nice evening all round and just warm enough to eat on the patio.
