Kilmodan Parish Church

I was further up the glen today, taking pictures of some of the sculptures on the walk to the chambered cairn above the Clachan - a good antidote to the intensive (and as it turns out highly successful)  politics of the last few weeks and months  , though I did spend some of the morning working on constituency and ministerial  issues.

Coming back down the hill there were great views across to the parish church which dates from 1783.   The churchyard is also fascinating as are the Kilmodan Carved Stones which are on display there.

I only got back from the BBC studios in Glasgow at 1.50 this morning, and my extra photo is the set for the election programme which was winding down as I was leaving.
