Eyeballed in Robin Hoods Bay...

This herring gull owns the scavenging rights to all the tables outside the Chapel Cafe where we had breakfast.
He (could be She, you can't tell with gulls) stoutly defends these rights, shrugging off any attempts to move him on by simply hopping from table to table, occasionally flashing his four foot wing span and staring at you.
I liked him, we spent a while together chatting, then left him to it.
