Stonehaven Outdoor Pool

Colin and I headed down the AWPR this morning to Stonehaven for this season's grand opening of the outdoor heated pool. This art deco masterpiece is one of the few left in Scotland from that era. The pool is much loved by the locals and has a Friends group which works in partnership with the Council to maintain and preserve the facility. Plenty of folk turned out to be the first to have a dip this year despite the cloudy sky and threat of rain. My extra is yours truly and fellow councillor Sarah Dickinson with a handsome dolphin!
