Born in Bury where I am visiting my aunt in her care home. I rather like this quote by Peel particularly after all the brexit shenanigans. "Public opinion is a compound of folly, weakness, prejudice, wrong feeling, right feeling, obstinacy and newspaper paragraphs" Plus ca change-----!!
Also born in Bury was Victoria Wood. Ignore the North at your peril!
