Parades and Bubbles

Today, my French visitors got to experience an all-American parade, complete with marching bands, veteran groups, fire trucks, politicians of all stripes, and various Latino dancing groups.  Lots of flags on display and, from the posted shot, a huge 'bubble-making truck' which was a hit with the kids.  I added an extra, of a riderless horse, which symbolized what today was all about...

Both our daughters returned to their homes this morning and the level of 'energy' is markedly lower ;)
