SIGNS

Your National Monuments

Let me continue with American signs sent from my friend.

As she told me, she found the use of the determiner 'your' in signs interesting. I think I've seen a few signs with 'your,' followed by the names of things they intend to protect, but I don't seem to be able to refer to an example here.

How about 'Our National Monuments'? As the determiner 'our' seems exclusive, not including many others, compared to 'your', those who have seen the sign would not get to think the importance of the monuments as something belonging to them? Anyway I hope I can get more examples from the internet now that I'm in Japan, where you would have little chance to spot such English signs.
