Tradeston

My car was in for repair today, having a little scrape removed!
When I went to collect it I walked through the Tradeston area of Glasgow. This area, as the name suggests was a commercial district in the 19th century. Lots of buildings have been demolished or adapted for use as flats but there are still many remnants of our Victorian past.
This elegant brick building in Venetian Gothic style, which is on the 'buildings at risk' register, was a 19th century paint factory and is now in a sad state of repair.
