Beautifully restored and maintained.

Oot n aboot this afternoon, and we ended up in somewhere I’ve not been in years - St Salvator’s Chapel. It was consecrated in 1460 and is still a place of worship during University term time. The Chapel is also used for alumni weddings and other purposes eg choral recitals - my wife went to one in 2018.

The Chapel of today is a mixture of old and new and it bears the scars of religious strife and turmoil over the centuries. It’s in lovely condition now.

The acoustics were demonstrated by a piece of organ music just as we left. Impressive.
