We've added to our Wainwright tally today.
Hartsop Dodd, Stony Cove Pike, Thornthwaite Crag and Gray Crag.
Another four bringing us to 154 which means another sixty to go!
We'll keep bashing away at them as long as we are able.
It was a tiring walk with some pretty steep climbs and tricky stony bits to negotiate. In fact we're so tired we haven't even been to the pub this evening, but ate leftovers and some bottles of beer. Very nice too.
Oh yes, we spotted this lovely little stone barn on the way down near the village of Hartsop.
Am going to add an extra from my phone of a stone we passed on the path with what appears to be a fossilised fish imprinted on it. Can't believe if that's what it is that it hasn't been scooped up and displayed somewhere.
