Treats

I started the day at an interesting conference at the Sorbonne and when I got back I found these flowers from Ch and the lovely card she made. Other cards arrived in the mail, plus birthday greetings from friends and family by email and social media... Ch ran out to get us felafel (from Pitzman!) and pastries for dinner. 

I'm feeling very special and looking forward to my fifties, hard as it is (for me) to believe that I'm there!
