Ernie Rae of the BBC hosting a live radio programme; the panel members were discussing the relationship between faith and imagination. They consisted of a poet and a performance artist (Louise Wallwein and Mohammed), and two academics (Barnabas Palfrey and Ann) – I missed the surnames of two of them.
It was very interesting indeed and the ability of the two academics to pick up points made by the artists, and vice versa, was just fascinating. Louise read us a poem about her meeting her birth mother for the first time in 30 years . . . a powerful moment for the whole audience, I suspect.
