The Big Day

Something I should imagine anyone who has had children would probably recognise. The excitement and consequently early starts that go with the arrival of father Christmas.

4am start for us, with the first requests to open presents in his stocking, when Oliver realised that father Christmas had been. We managed to drag it out until 5.30 before we let him open his presents in his stocking.

It was about an hour later that we had to get dressed and go downstairs to see if father Christmas had eaten his mince pie and had his drink and the reindeer had their carrot.

We later headed down to London to spend Christmas day with my Mum, Grandmother, and Brother, enjoying Christmas dinner with them before heading back home.

A good day was had by all, and all things considered Oliver was very good. Exceptionally excited and very pleased with all his presents.
