Is this you?

Ok, hands up, I didn't take this photo. I was doing a bit of unpacking ( we were in our last house for 25 years and never fully unpacked there ) and came across some old photographic plates which I bought in 1986 in Norfolk. It's fitting I turn them up after we move back to Norfolk.

There's history within history here. The plates were wrapped in a copy of The Norfolk Advertiser dated 4th April 1986 containing an article announcing that ... "An airbag - a revolutionary 'cushion' which inflates in milliseconds to protect the driver from injury in an accident - is to be offered by Mercedes-Benz in Britain." That alone makes me feel ancient!

The fact that these plates were bought in Norfolk doesn't necessarily mean they were exposed in Norfolk. Although some cliche verre plates in the bundle do have reference to RAF so it's quite possible. If anyone recognises the gate or anything that might locate where it was taken. If anyone identifies themselves here then ..... you must be ancient
