Single Squirrel

Usually there are lots of squirrels around in the park at this time of year. Today, this was the only one I saw. Was it due to the cold, wet weather? Here in Northampton the top temperature has been 14.5C and I've had the central heating on since early afternoon. Would the weather gods please turn up the thermostat - it's almost June!
