Crossing the Flow

Having not blipped I took this pic from the porch.  The ferry cognoscenti will note that the Hoy Head is set for its run to Flotta, i.e. it will pass east of Cava.  It will then travel on to Lyness on Hoy and back to Houton on the Mainland.  At night she is based in Longhope.  She was lengthened a few years ago to cope with demand but is now full nearly every day of the year.

Quite a chilly day again early on with the wind still in the north.  I even went to School Ha’ in Evie and didn’t take a blip.  Back at HQ I stripped down the bikes and reassembled them.  Now for my Swarfega toastie.
