Afternoon Tea

Today M.and H.took me for a belated Mother's Day Afternoon Tea ( they had made me an IOU voucher for an Afternoon Tea) today was the first time we have managed to get together to go. We went to Country Cuppa a teashop that has just been opened by one of the mums from school it was very nice there were mini sandwiches containing ham, egg, salmon and tuna then there was a French Fancy cake, a slice of chocolate cake, a slice of carrot cake, strawberry meringue and a scone with jam and clotted cream J.the owner took our picture and put it on Facebook as we were the first people to finish the whole tea (struggled to move for the rest of the night though). Had a lovely time with my daughters as we don't really get the chance to get together as much as we used to due to work commitments and also H.and her partner A.have things to do now but I love the times we can get together.
