Ashridge & Aldbury

We had another wonderful day out with Mum & Dad, firstly starting with a walk in the Ashridge Estate where we found ourselves losing all the main crowds by walking off the major pathways :-)

We had hoped to lunch in The Greyhound pub in the idyllic village of Aldbury. It was bursting at the seams so we bought lunch in the village stores and found a bench by the village pond :)

After saying our goodbyes it was on to Berkhamsted for some last minute holiday shopping & admiring the canal boats on the Grand Union Canal :-)

A really lovely day!
