We left Crianlarich SYHA at about 9am. Six and a half hours later and we're at my house, but then Mary had a 45 minute journey to hers. 

The traffic today was horrible, very busy and most of the  time it was raining, sometimes very heavily. It may be that I've got so used to driving slowly that the M74/M6 came as something of a shock, or perhaps the traffic really was heavier than usual, I don't know. 

We've had a great time, and I definitely want to go back and do the Cuillin Ridge with a guide... but it won't be this year. The trip has also got me thinking about a camper van again... but we'll see because I'd miss the company of others that you get in a hostel. 

What was the highlight for me? The climbing day :-)
