Rat Island

It was the field club’s AGM tonight and we were treated to a fascinating talk afterwards by Richard Osgood, award winning MOD Archaeologist and Digging for Britain presenter. It was about the Operation Nightingale excavations by injured Forces personnel on Rat Island (also known as Burrow Island), off Gosport. More information can be found here.
