Wet Castle

Hammered it down all day. Embra was full of wet tourists and grumbling locals, like me wandering back to the station after my meetings.

Home for tea, a bit more work, a quick bite to eat then out to The Brass Monkey to see the trailers that the Napier Students had made for two of Mrs Smith’s scripts. Well, that was the plan but the Brass Monkey guys wouldn’t let Joe and Eve in, even though it was a private screening and we had checked a few days ago.

So, I left Mrs S to it and went to the bookshop with the guys and then took them for hot chocolate and cake.

Mrs S emerged a short while later and we headed home to play the fiendishly complicated card game (Gloom) that we picked up in the bookshop. It was so engrossing we stayed up way past bedtime. Which was Ill advised as Mrs S has an early train to catch to get over to Glasgow.
