Heartichoke

When we had the allotment l planted a lot of artichokes from seed.
When we gave it up about three years ago ( a very difficult decision but the right one) l transferred three into our garden.
Two thrived and this year l can see at least four artichokes.
I really should pick them and eat them but l love watching them grow and change so l’ll be buying mine from the greengrocers:-)
So my Blip is this big fat one, already just past it’s best for harvesting.
