A walk through London

I woke in the night with a stabby headache which was still with me this morning - took some tablets and after some breakfast felt a bit better so we headed into London. There is a direct train from Abbey Wood to London Bridge so we were perfectly placed to head to Borough Market but it was heaving so after a quick perusal we headed out past the Golden Hinde and stopped at the Swan beside the Globe Theatre for a drink and a bite to eat.

We then headed also to behind Waterloo station for Mr PHL to visit a book shop which funnily enough turned out to be a model shop as well!

Headed along to Waterloo Bridge and got some nice shots up and down the river before I started having visual disturbance - a migraine without headache which I’ve had before and which takes around 30 minutes to pass. Very grateful that there was a coffee shop just past Somerset House to sit and sip a cup of tea in.
We then headed to Covent Garden but again very busy so walked down LongAcre to Greek Street searching for Azriphale’s car and bookshop - found both and so excited to see the props and costumes used in filming Good Omens (pic of me with car in extras).
Wandered through Soho and stopped for another rest and a drink where I saw a photographer taking shots of two ladies and had to snap them - by the flag I guess they May have been publicity shots for London Pride.
Dinner in Chinatown before back to the site (via a circuitous route as I misread the train platform) and about to head off for an early night.

Thank you for your continued support and comments on my attempt at an abstract .

The main pic is of flowers in the courtyard garden at Winchester Palace. Thanks to Biker Bear for hosting flower Friday.
