Symphony in the Park

A free outdoor concert of the Hawaiian Symphony Orchestra ... why not, we said? And it was wonderful. Such a fun and enjoyable way to listen to some classical music. Hundreds of people on picnic blankets and beach chairs sharing picnic dinners and good cheer. The conductor was a hoot and made for a lively evening. There was a bit of everything, from Bizet and Verdi to the sound track of Hawaii 5.0 and Jurassic Park.

My day started at yoga, which was strenuous to say the least. Afterwards Laurie invited me to a local café for a chat and a kale smoothie. What a wonderful friend! It's quite extraordinary how much we have in common.

Work, a walk on the beach, and then the concert. Another day passes in Alohaland.

The extra photo is a beautiful tree in flower that we passed on the way to the concert. Stunning!
