RSNO 2018-2019 Season' s Finale

Wow, can' t describe the whole concert in a few words.

First at all I must say that Danish conductor Thomas Søndergård should be another "legend" amongst the others in the past (Sir Alexander Gibson, Neeme Järvi for example).

It was pure delight to see whole suite (including RSNO Chorus directing by Gregory Batsleer) and Anthony Clark Evans as baritone while performing WALTON' s Belshazzar' s Feast on stage. And try to imagine another brass section (7 on left, 7 on right) on both sides of the Upper Circle. Really great finale for whole orchestra. They fully deserved huge long-standing ovation at the end.

Can' t forget to mention the first half of the concert with Norwegian cellist Truls Mørk in first half ' s ELGAR - Cello Concerto in E Minor Op85 and opener SIBELIUS - Belshazzar' s Feast Suite Op51.

Next RSNO' s season looks so promising after yesterday' s night. Highly recommended orchestra in these days. That' s for sure.

Bravooo ;-)
