Brighouse 1940s

SATURDAY

I headed over the Pennines to Oldham for this morning's Parkrun which was held at Alexandra Park - an oasis in an otherwise grey town. Completed the 5 km in  25m:13s

This afternoon, after  seeing the Spitfire and Hurricane in the distance, we headed down to Brighouse where the town is hosting the annual 1940s weekend. It was hot, the place was heaving and the tills were ringing.
