Breakfast in Teddington

We had an early start as we wanted to get to Twickenham before the crowds, but couldn’t face it without breakfast first.
The focus of the shopping was work trousers for me, which I’ve been finding hard to get, but within an hour we’d got them, success at last. We then wandered around, pressure off and more relaxed, and had a lovely lunch on the river at Browns in the glorious sunshine.
When I win the lottery I’m going to have a meal a day in Browns, the decor is lovely, the staff wear a uniform, the napkins are white cotton, and the menu is extensive and delicious.
We came back down to earth in the afternoon, covered in cobwebs and spiders re-stacking our woodpile.
The expected excitement of the Champions League Final tonight was in fact a massive let down, what s boring match. So much so that Sarah and I who were the only 2 who wanted to watch it fell asleep in the 2nd half. I’m glad Liverpool won though.
Although we had a busy day I only took 2 photos and the 2nd was an AI hoover, work related, vision of the future.
