I can smell it.....

After yesterday's food, wine and lots of hours spent in the house, today we broke free!

Out in the fresh air with the dogs, we felt refreshed and R and H were in their element.

Being typical labradors they are water babies and here is R "sniffing out" the water - clearly the mud hadn't satisfied her cravings and dirty water was needed to increase her smelliness.

The days I feel stressed, unimportant, unorganised and generally not good enough I look at my dogs - all they want is food, water, exercise and love and they give me so much back in return for this simple 4 part list.

They make me so happy and I feel very smug that my husband and I have such a lovely little "family".
