Liverpool docks

Here we are all ready to set off on our survey! The ‘Encounter ‘ has to negotiate the lock system to exit the docks at about 1am. We will not wait up to watch!

By the time we get up on the bridge the ship will be moving south down the coast of Wales and we will have a day watching for seabirds and dolphins on the way to Bristol.
Very exciting!
